Majolica Majorca - Lash Jelly Drops
I've loved asian beauty for a long time and I find skincare and mascaras are some of the best and very reasonably priced. So when I saw this lash treatment I had to try it!
Since all the writing on the packaging was japanese (I think) I couldn't read what exactly this product claims to do, so I tried it with an open mind.
The product inside is clear and you brush it on your lashes like regular mascara. The wand is a funny one, but I find it easy to use and the small bubbles easily catches all the lashes. I use this once a day on both top and bottom lashes.
I haven't noticed my lashes getting longer but I have noticed that I don't have that many lashes falling out like I usually do, and that fact could mean that my lashes will grow longer and maybe fuller too. After using this for a couple weeks I noticed I have better "lash days" where my lashes look full, long and separated when I apply mascara, no matter what mascara that may be.
I really like this product and I would buy it again, sadly it looks like it's a bit hard to find but I will certainly try and track another one of these down.

Majolica Majorca - Mascaras
Recently I've been very much into Asian mascaras since I find they are very good at holding a curl and giving both volume and length. I have two mascaras here from Majolica Majorca, the first is Lash Expander Edge Meister (black lid) and the other is Lash King (gold lid).
Lash Expander Edge Meister has a plastic wand which is flat. The top is straight with small combs and the bottom is curved with longer combs. The formula of the mascara is a bit wet and the wand was very hard to control in my opinion. My lashes clumped together very easily because of the wand but Im sure with practice I can make it work. The formula made my lashes droop a tiny tiny bit, but they were still curled and looked alright. the application might get easier when you use it more and there isn't as much product sticking to the wand like there will be in the first few applications. This mascara claims to give length and separation.
Lash King had a bristle brush comb and is very easy to use. The formula is a lot dryer than the Lash Expander but I tend to like dryer formulas. It kept a curl very nicely and separated and lengthened my lashes without looking clumpy. This mascara claims to be an all rounder that will give length, volume and separation, and it really does!
Both mascaras are fiber mascaras. The fibers does not flake or fall out and they are by far the best fiber mascaras I've ever used!
(L: Lash King, R: Lash Expander)
In the picture above I'm wearing Lash King on the left and Lash Expander on the right. It's clear to see that the Lash King gave more separation and length than the Lash Expander which looks a bit clumpy. Also because of Lash Expanders wet formula it transferred a bit to my lower lashes because I blinked. I didn't mind this because I put mascara on my lower lashes anyway, but if you don't like that look be aware of this.
My fave is the Lash King and I highly recommend it! But I'm not giving up on the Lash Expander since it is the brands most sold mascara so maybe I'm just missing something?

Fairydrops waterproof mascara - review
I've seen a lot of people on YouTube talk about this mascara, but it is nearly impossible to find, so my search went to eBay. Plenty of sellers have this but shipping will take forever but most of the time shipping is free so that's a plus. It's not the cheapest mascara but not as expensive as designer brands either.
The wand has three bobbles and is curved, which makes it very good for length, separation and curl, and because the formula is waterproof the curl lasts all day on me which I love!
When I opened the mascara I was surprised to see small fibers in the mascara, because it doesn't mention anywhere that this mascara has fibers or any kind of lash extensions in it. In the picture above you can see some small fibers sticking out at the top of the wand, but lots more fibers are on the wand it was just hard to capture on photo.
The mascara give a very natural look, but with a lot of added length, separation and curl. the formula is wet which had me worried that my lashes would droop but the curl stayed all day and it didn't flake or smudge on me. I love this mascara and will without a doubt buy it again and I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mascara that gives length and holds a curl without flaking like other lash extending fiber mascaras.
If you hate mascaras that takes a bit of work to get off then this is not for you, I use an oil based eye makeup remover and it took more work than removing my usual waterproof mascara!

French Skincare
I recently ran out of some of my favorite skincare and made a repurchase along with some new items I wanted to try out.
Nuxe - Beauty fresh cream: I use the "enriched" version of this at night and wanted to see if this day cream would suit my skin a bit better since I have noticed my skin getting dryer lately.
Nuxe - Reve de miel lipbalm: HG product! I use this every night as a "sleeping mask" for my lips and I always wake up with soft and smooth lips. It never fails! I only use it at home since I don't like dipping my finger in lipbalm when I'm out and about.
Nuxe - Dark spot correcting serum: Lately I've noticed a lot of dark spots on my forehead and cheeks and I thought this would be a good serum to try since I like the Nuxe range already.
Klorane - Eye patches: These eye patches are supposed to minimize dark circles. I've tried them once and my dark circles were reduced significantly but they quickly returned the next day. These patches are more like a treat before a big event or for a pamper night at home than and everyday product.
La Roche Posay - Serozinc: I use this toner twice a day without fail. It's a bit of extra moisture to the skin before applying serums and moisturizer. It's supposed to help with breakouts as well, but I haven't noticed a big difference in that department. None the less a good and refreshing toner.
La Roche Posay - Effaclar duo: HG spot treatment! This is the only product mild enough to not make my skin red, irritated and flaky, but strong enough to actually fight those nasty spots. I absolutely love this product, and if you're not as sensitive as me it can be used all over the face as an acne fighting moisturizer.
Bioderma - Crealine H2O: I use this as my first cleanse in the evening to take off all my face makeup, and I really like it. I've tried the sebium version for oily skin too but I like this one a lot better. It's very nice for sensitive skin.
A lot of these items are things I love and use everyday. I can't say if they are all HG products since something better could be out there, but as of now I'm very happy using these products!

Clarins - Instant light lip perfecting balms
I recently bought the Clarins lip oils and I saw these lip balms at the display and decided to try one. I went for the light pink shade 03 My Pink which reacts to your PH levels to create your own personalized pink shade. I loved the balm so much that I picked up another 3 balms.
I have the shades 01 rose, 03 My Pink, 05 Red and 06 Rosewood. The balms are smooth and has an amazing scent of vanilla! They feel hydrating on the lips and the hydration stays for a couple hours if you don't eat or drink.
The picture above shows that the balms doesn't have a lot of pigment, 05 Red is by far the most pigmented of the shades I have. 06 Rosewood looks pigmented on the skin but doesn't really show up on my lips , neither does the 01 Rose shade. Surprisingly 03 My Pink shows up a lot better on my lips than in the above swatch and it has quickly become my fave of all the shades.
They are pretty expensive for a lip balm, but if your looking for a good balm that looks cute and your in a mood to treat yourself these are great. You don't need all the shades since they don't really look that different on the lips. But in my book 03 My Pink is a must have!

Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover - Review
I've heard many good things about this product and I've been wanting to try it for a while but the price tag kept me from buying it. Luckily I got a gift with purchase and this was one of the mini's I received.
This makeup remover claims to take off waterproof eye makeup, and hearing the hype it gets from youtube makeup gurus it should take the waterproof mascara off ridiculously easy. So when I put it on my lashes I expected my mascara to magically come off my lashes with ease. It didn't! My mascara flaked of in small pieces and got in my eyes and made them red and irritated. I had to scrub hard to get every bit of mascara off and it took ages.
I wear waterproof mascara everyday and I've tried many eye makeup removers but I always go back to the same one from my local Matas store which is the Matas own brand waterproof makeup remover. It has an oily feel but I don't mind it, and I actually think it helps condition and nourish my lashes and keep them healthier.
So in conclusion I'm sticking to my old fave and won't be buying the Clarins one, it is not worth the money in my opinion.

Clarins - Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil
So I've been MIA for the past few months due to work and some family issues, but I'm back and I want to try posting regularly like I used to.
Clarins Launched their spring collection in February and I've been wanting to get my hands on their new lip oils ever since I first saw them. Sadly I'm not the only one and the oils were sold out everywhere and in every online store I could possibly think of.
That led me to eBay, and sure enough there where people selling the oils for up to 4 times the original price. Being desperate for the pink shade, which is limited edition, I bought it overpriced. A week later I was still searching for the yellow shade (even put my boyfriend on the case as well), and googled it to find online retailers.
To my excitement I saw that my local beauty store had the oils on their website and I rushed down town to see if the were in store as well. They were! Right in front of me was the whole Spring 2015 collection, even the limited edition pink shade. I bought both shades after trying them out on my hand and though I was very happy I felt a bit sad that I hadn't discovered the display sooner as it would have saved me a lot of money.
Anyways, I like both shades and I'll tell you why!
The oils look very colorful in the tube, but they don't have much color pay-off when applied to your lips. The biggest difference between them is the scent. The pink shade has a very sweet fruity scent and the yellow shade is pretty much straight up honey scent.
The oils aren't meant to be a makeup product but rather a lip treatment, which is why I don't mind the lack of color in the oils. They feel like a lip gloss and a lip balm hybrid. They give incredible shine and hydration to the lips. They start off a little sticky, not very much but just a tad, but after a while they sink into the lips and give a nice, soft and smooth feeling to the lips.
If I don't eat or drink they last about 2-3 hours on my lips, where you can still "feel" them, if I eat or drink the shine will disappear right away but there will be some hydration left on your lips from the oil.
I would recommend these oils, since I find them hydrating and very pleasant to use. The yellow shade is permanent so it should make it's way back in store once the crazy hype has gone down a bit. If you get the chance to sniff the pink shade, DO IT! It smells amazing!
