Clarins - HydraQuench serum
I've heard a couple youtubers swear by this serum, so when it was 20% off I snagged one up and tried it out. I use this serum in the morning and one pump is enough for the whole face and neck.
This is a bi-phase product so it needs to be shaken before you use it, you don't get the same result if you don't (yes I've tried).
I absolutely love this serum! I didn't think my skin needed more moisture because I'm using very moisturizing products compared to what I used to use so I actually thought this was going to make my skin too slippery and not be good to apply makeup over. Boy was I wrong! My skin drinks this up and feels so good all day, and my makeup is looking better than ever! I don't get oily anymore and my makeup has stopped looking cakey and flakey.
I'm in love with it! This is most certainly a Holy Grail product! I'd recommend it to everyone and every skin type!

eBay finds - So Real Sunglasses
Recently I've been eyeing up the Dior So Real sunglasses range, but I don't have that kind of money to spend on a pair of sunglasses, so I went to eBay and sure enough they had sunglasses that looks very similar to the Dior ones, but at a much more affordable price.
I really love these brown half mirrored sunglasses, and they don't look too big on my tiny head. I bought another pair in black and plain dark lenses but those haven't arrived yet.
If you like the Dior sunglasses style but not the Dior prices I will highly recommend searching up these on eBay, there are tons of different colors to choose from! Of course you don't get the Dior quality, but hey - you get what you pay for.
I bought mine here

FOTD - Lash fibers
Today I wore a pretty natural makeup with all the focus on the lashes. I'm super happy with how this turned out and it's a great look for special occasions where you want to look natural but photo ready.
Base:
MULE artist makeup primer - This is a liquid primer that you put on like a serum or lotion before your base makeup. It dries down to a tacky finish and it really helps keep the makeup in place. This primer helped my face stay matte for longer and my makeup didn't cake around my nose or on my chin like it usually does. Great primer!
Dior skin nude bb cream - A light base that covers redness and smaller imperfections really well. It stays on all day and it doesn't break me out!
Maybelline age rewind concealer - I only used this under my eyes to brighten. It doesn't provide much coverage but it makes you look more awake and I like that about it. heavy concealers tend to look cakey under my eyes anyways.
Hourglass ambient powder - I use the shade diffused light all over my face to set my bb cream and concealer. It makes the skin matte without looking flat and dull. Usually this powder isn't enough to keep me shine free but with the primer underneath it worked perfectly.
Cheeks:
Tarte amazonian clay blush - I used the shade captivating which is a nice peachy shade that makes my pale skin look fresh and healthy. These blushes have really good lasting power and there are a lot of pretty colors in the range.
Lashes:
Physicians formula fiber mascara - This really makes your lashes long and voluminous! The downside to this (and even expensive fiber mascaras) is that it's messy. The small fibers gets everywhere and they can be hard to remove from your under eye concealer. I'd suggest to do your lashes before your concealer and foundation so it'll be easier to clean up. Other than that I don't have an issue with it. I tend to use a clean mascara wand to separate my lashes cause they can clump up easily when you use that much product on your lashes.
Lips:
Clarins lip perfector - I used number 02, a sheer peach color that feels very moisturizing and smell like vanilla, yum! These lip perfectors are like a gloss/ balm hybrid and I love them so much!
I absolutely love this look, and I'm going to try different ways to play with this look and possibly add some eyeshadow and what not.

Nars - Parallel Universe
This is my first product from Nars. I knew I wanted this duo from the moment I saw it. I'm not the biggest eyeshadow wearer but I feel like I can make this work in a couple different ways. The champagne shade is very shimmery and pretty and works well all over the lid or to highlight the inner corner of the eye. The lilac shade isn't as pigmented as it looks, but it looks very pretty on the bottom lash line or maybe used as a subtle eyeliner.
The sun is blurring out the eyeshadow, but in the picture above I'm wearing the champagne shade all over the lid and the lilac shade on the bottom lash line.
I've noticed that the lilac shade really makes the green in my eyes stand out and I'm super excited about that!
I love this duo but I'm sure there are many dupes for the champagne shade and possibly the lilac shade.

Majolica Majorca - Lash Jelly Drops
I've loved asian beauty for a long time and I find skincare and mascaras are some of the best and very reasonably priced. So when I saw this lash treatment I had to try it!
Since all the writing on the packaging was japanese (I think) I couldn't read what exactly this product claims to do, so I tried it with an open mind.
The product inside is clear and you brush it on your lashes like regular mascara. The wand is a funny one, but I find it easy to use and the small bubbles easily catches all the lashes. I use this once a day on both top and bottom lashes.
I haven't noticed my lashes getting longer but I have noticed that I don't have that many lashes falling out like I usually do, and that fact could mean that my lashes will grow longer and maybe fuller too. After using this for a couple weeks I noticed I have better "lash days" where my lashes look full, long and separated when I apply mascara, no matter what mascara that may be.
I really like this product and I would buy it again, sadly it looks like it's a bit hard to find but I will certainly try and track another one of these down.

Majolica Majorca - Mascaras
Recently I've been very much into Asian mascaras since I find they are very good at holding a curl and giving both volume and length. I have two mascaras here from Majolica Majorca, the first is Lash Expander Edge Meister (black lid) and the other is Lash King (gold lid).
Lash Expander Edge Meister has a plastic wand which is flat. The top is straight with small combs and the bottom is curved with longer combs. The formula of the mascara is a bit wet and the wand was very hard to control in my opinion. My lashes clumped together very easily because of the wand but Im sure with practice I can make it work. The formula made my lashes droop a tiny tiny bit, but they were still curled and looked alright. the application might get easier when you use it more and there isn't as much product sticking to the wand like there will be in the first few applications. This mascara claims to give length and separation.
Lash King had a bristle brush comb and is very easy to use. The formula is a lot dryer than the Lash Expander but I tend to like dryer formulas. It kept a curl very nicely and separated and lengthened my lashes without looking clumpy. This mascara claims to be an all rounder that will give length, volume and separation, and it really does!
Both mascaras are fiber mascaras. The fibers does not flake or fall out and they are by far the best fiber mascaras I've ever used!
(L: Lash King, R: Lash Expander)
In the picture above I'm wearing Lash King on the left and Lash Expander on the right. It's clear to see that the Lash King gave more separation and length than the Lash Expander which looks a bit clumpy. Also because of Lash Expanders wet formula it transferred a bit to my lower lashes because I blinked. I didn't mind this because I put mascara on my lower lashes anyway, but if you don't like that look be aware of this.
My fave is the Lash King and I highly recommend it! But I'm not giving up on the Lash Expander since it is the brands most sold mascara so maybe I'm just missing something?

Fairydrops waterproof mascara - review
I've seen a lot of people on YouTube talk about this mascara, but it is nearly impossible to find, so my search went to eBay. Plenty of sellers have this but shipping will take forever but most of the time shipping is free so that's a plus. It's not the cheapest mascara but not as expensive as designer brands either.
The wand has three bobbles and is curved, which makes it very good for length, separation and curl, and because the formula is waterproof the curl lasts all day on me which I love!
When I opened the mascara I was surprised to see small fibers in the mascara, because it doesn't mention anywhere that this mascara has fibers or any kind of lash extensions in it. In the picture above you can see some small fibers sticking out at the top of the wand, but lots more fibers are on the wand it was just hard to capture on photo.
The mascara give a very natural look, but with a lot of added length, separation and curl. the formula is wet which had me worried that my lashes would droop but the curl stayed all day and it didn't flake or smudge on me. I love this mascara and will without a doubt buy it again and I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mascara that gives length and holds a curl without flaking like other lash extending fiber mascaras.
If you hate mascaras that takes a bit of work to get off then this is not for you, I use an oil based eye makeup remover and it took more work than removing my usual waterproof mascara!
