eBay finds - Drew bag dupe

The Drew bag style has been very trendy this year and pretty much every store does their own version of it. I've needed a small black bag for a while now so when I saw this dupe on eBay I was very happy.

The look of the bag is very much like the ChloƩ bag except the materials and the inside of the bag. This bag has a zip pocket and an open pocket for a phone. The bag feels very sturdy and seems to be very good quality for the money.

This bag works at both cross body and as a hand held bag. The bag is very secure with the lock mechanism and I really like that, plus it looks pretty cool and adds detail to the bag.

If your not into this particular bag Topshop makes a similar one but I absolutely loved the color of it.

The Topshop bag is slightly more girly looking because of the colors and it doesn't have the cool looking lock. Still the bag is beautiful and also had a zip pocket and a pocket for a phone plus a slot for a credit card.

This bag closes with magnets and isn't as secure so I would keep that in mind when your out and about. Other than that it feels sturdy and good quality, and it should because it was twice the price of the eBay one!

Sadly the eBay seller sold out of the bags and hasn't relisted anything new. But I found these that look very much the same here

Comparison - Clarisonic, Konjac sponge and Foreo dupe

I've been using cleansing tools for years now, and whenever a new tool comes out I wonder if it's better than what I already have or if it's worth the money, since most of them tend to be very expensive.

The most popular tools I've seen are the Clarisonic, I have the Mia version, and Konjac sponges, and recently I found a Foreo mini dupe. I bought the dupe since I can't afford the real thing but wanted to test if this kind of tool was better than what I had already tried.

Clarisonic: This was my first cleansing tool and I was really happy with it for a long time. Then I had to buy new brush heads and realized that they were very expensive and usually they didn't last the 3 moths they were supposed to. I found them hard to clean and they started smelling funny. It was nice for gently scrubbing my face clean, but only for a short time, because I had a hard time cleaning the brush properly which resulted in bacteria growing in the brush.

Konjac sponge: I bought this after my Clarisonic in hope that this would be as good as the hype said. This sponge blew my mind! It exfoliated my skin so gently but still removed all traces of dirt from my skin. I notice my skin get smoother and clearer. The sponges are super easy to clean and even after 3 months, when they recommend you to change the sponge, it didn't look or smell weird. I do believe the material the Konjac sponge is made of is something bacteria can't grow in, but I'm not sure. I any case I haven't had problems with them at all and I have actually used sponges for 4 months with no problems.

Foreo dupe: I was very curious when I saw the new Foreo cleansing tools that didn't have to be replaced every 3 months and was made so bacteria couldn't grow on the tool. But I had no money, and at the time I was very happy with my Konjac sponges. When I saw this dupe I jumped on it, cause I really wanted to know if it would make a big difference. I tried it a couple times but wasn't impressed. The vibration made my dizzy and I didn't feel like my skin got the exfoliation I wanted. But I stuck it and noticed that the blackheads on my cheeks, forehead and chin were gone. The tool does say the vibration will unclog pores but I didn't think it was possible after I first tried it. I've gotten used to the vibrations now so I don't feel dizzy anymore and I really enjoy using this tool. Because it's made of a rubber material it's super easy to clean.

In my skincare routine right now I use the Foreo dupe and a Konjac sponge. First the Foreo dupe to clean my skin and make sure my pores are unclogged and then I'll use the Konjac sponge to gently exfoliate dead skincells off. This is a winning combo for my skin and I get both the Foreo and the Konjac sponges on eBay for a very good deal. I usually buy Konjac sponges in a pack of 4 which will last me a year since every sponge will last about 3 months. The sponges on eBay are only a couple dollars for a 4 pack and I'm happy to pay that because the Konjac sponge really is a great tool. I got the Foreo dupe a little over a month ago and it's still going strong on it's first charge.

I recommend Konjac sponges and the Foreo dupe to everyone, they're super great at cleaning your skin and they both come at a very good price.

I hope this comparison was helpful!

Charlotte Tilbury - The Spy Who Loved Me dupes!

A while ago I bought this little eye and lip/cheek duo from Charlotte Tilbury. When I started swatching it I was pretty sure I had cream blushes that was similar, but it turned out that all my cream blushes were way off in color. However I do have a lip color that matches the color and two eyeshadows that matches as well!

Here you can see the two eyeshadow sticks pointing to the eyeshadow shade in the duo and the lip color pointing to the lip/cheek color in the duo. At first glance it doesn't look like they will match but they really are great dupes!

The Charlotte Tilbury swatches are marked with a "CT". The 3 bottom shades are the eyeshadow and the two on the top are lip color.

Dupes for Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow shade:

Clinique - Chubby eyeshadow stick in Ample Amber: This dupe is pretty much spot on. The color looks identical and the texture of the product feels very similar. The eyeshadow is great and lasts all night on my eyes with primer. Highly recommend this one!

Rimmel - Kate shadow sticks in 100 Rose gold: When you swatch this it will be way too dark, but when it's blended out the color is very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury shade and it lasts just as long on the eyes with primer. The eyeshadow stick is very pigmented and you only need a little bit to blend it out to look like the more expensive shades. By far the best buy for drugstore makeup!

Dupe for Charlotte Tilbury lip/cheek shade:

Clinique - Chubby stick in Whole lotta honey: This lip color is very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury shade, maybe slightly more on the pink side where the CT shade is a tiny bit more brown in undertone. Also the Clinique stick has a glossy finish where the CT shade dries down matte. Otherwise a very close dupe for the lips.

Hope this was helpful!

eBay finds - Hermes bracelet dupe

I've seen a few youtuber's wear bracelets like this and always thought they were really pretty and super cool. The Hermes price tag is not so cool though.

Again my search for something similar lead me to eBay, and sure enough I found the bracelet for way cheaper and in a lot of different colors to choose from. I ordered one in white since I thought that would match most things in my wardrobe.

The bracelet shipped out quickly but somehow got lost in the mail and I had to contact the seller. I was asked to wait another week and if the bracelet didn't arrive by then, I would get a refund. I waited the week and the bracelet wasn't there, I was busy on the exact day so I decided to write the seller the following day. When I got home from work the bracelet had arrived!

Had I not waited that extra day I might have gotten the bracelet for free. but I love the bracelet and I would happily pay for it and more. I just want to let you know that the eBay sellers I've bought from have been really nice and very helpful, so don't worry!

The bracelet is a great size, not too small and not too big that it will fall off your hand. The H twists open and the bracelet can be taken on and off like this. It feels secure and it won't pop open on its own. The bracelet is oval shaped and that makes sure that the H will stay at the front and not twist around on your arm which I really love!

I love this bracelet and I've already planned to buy more in different colors!

eBay finds - Foreo dupe

I was very fascinated when I first saw the Foreo cleansing device, but the price was way more than I would ever pay for something like that. Luckily I came across some youtube videos where they reviewed this item and I had to try it for myself.

It looks very much like the Foreo mini but it is a fraction of the price. The box contains the cleansing device and a USB charger.

The device vibrates, and the speed can be adjusted. The device claims to be 100% waterproof.

The device has small nibs on both sides, fine on the front and larger on the back. The back of the device has the charging plug which is covered.

In my honest opinion I didn't see any change in my skin with this device. It's supposed to be really good for getting rid of blackheads since the vibrations should vibrate them out of your pores. But it does clean my skin well otherwise.

If you have thought about getting the Foreo mini I would highly suggest you try this first. It cleans well and gives your face a nice massage while you clean.

Easy plant terrarium

The plant terrariums have been a big trend lately,  and I've loved the look of them from the start, especially the geometric terrariums.

I took a trip to my local Plantorama where they have everything in plants for your home, inside and outside, and they even have some home decor. I found this pentagon shaped lantern that was the perfect size for a terrarium for my living room. In the same store they had an offer for 3 small cacti and they turned out to fit perfectly into the terrarium.

I soaked the plants in water before placing them in the terrarium and covered the bottom with some leftover orchid soil I had laying around at home, which I think gives it a nice rustic look.

The only thing to be aware of with this, is that the terrarium is made to be a lantern and therefor not to hold water in. So when you water your plants make sure you have a towel or something under it to soak up the excess water that might escape.

I think cacti is a good option for the terrariums because they don't need much water making the water issue not too big of a hassle. If you want to use other plants you can but cacti is the most popular option I've seen.

I love this terrarium and I might get some smaller ones in the future and just put one cactus in each, I think that would be pretty too, or maybe even hang them from the ceiling or a shelve.

eBay finds - Nars mini kabuki brush dupe

This Christmas Nars brought out a brush set by Steven Klein and one of the brushes is this mini kabuki brush that is a nice eyeshadow blending brush but would also work well used to apply highlighter or even buff out concealer.

I haven't been able to find any dupes for the other brushes in the set, but I do think this brush is the most usable brush in the set, so to be able to buy it on its own for a couple dollars is a win-win in my book.

The brush is soft and hasn't shed on me yet so I would recommend this brush if you've been looking at the set for this brush in particular.

Charlotte Tilbury - Mini haul

For a long time I've wanted to try some stuff from Charlotte Tilbury and also get my hands on the super cute makeup bag, so when the Christmas sets came out I made a small order of the stuff that's been on my wishlist for the longest time.

I got the makeup bag, the eye and lip palette in "The spy who loved me" and "The gift of goddess skin" set.

The spy who loved me contains a rose gold eyeshadow (top) and a mauvy pinky brown lip and cheek color (bottom).

The gift of goddess skin contains 3 sample sizes of her popular Goddess skin clay mask, Magic cream and Wonder glow. each sample is 15 ml.

I haven't tried any of the products yet (they will be going under the tree this Christmas) but I will do a review on these products as soon as possible!

eBay finds - Love Bracelet dupe!

The Cartier Love bracelet has been all the rage for a long time now and I've seen several people sporting this bracelet and I've always liked the look of it, and since it came in rose gold I was so eager to get one.

The price tag on a Cartier bracelet is way over my budget so my search got me on eBay, and sure enough there were tons of Love bracelet dupes for just a couple dollars. The bracelet is available in gold, silver and rose gold, and I bought the rose gold one of course.

The size of the bracelet is smaller than a bangle so it wont fall off your wrist or slide all the way up to your elbow if you have small arms and hands like me.

I had to practice getting the bracelet on cause it can be a bit tricky but it is possible to do on your own after you get the hang of it. The closure feels secure and it doesn't pop open on it's own, which I've had other bracelets do, and they were more expensive than this one.

I really love this bracelet, its simple, classic and goes with everything and on top of that it's super affordable!

If you've been eyeing up the Love bracelet I highly suggest you buy this one from eBay!

I got mine here

FOTD - Kiko Rebel Romantic

Today I tried a little different look, still very natural as always, I don't think you'll ever see me wear dramatic makeup especially not for every day. But I did try some light contour, bronzer and a bit of eyeshadow and lipstick, which is more makeup than I usually go for, but I have been going makeup free for a few days and today I really felt the urge to really try something different from what I'm used to.

Face:
Kiko eye potion under the eyes
Missha perfect cover BB cream no. 21
YSL touche eclat (eBay) shade 1 as under eye corrector
Maybelline fit me in fair
Hourglass Dim light as setting powder

Cheeks:
Kiko bouncy blush no. 1 velvety peach
Urban Decay naked basics shade naked 2 (for contour)
Hourglass Radiant light as bronzer
Hourglass Incandescent light as highlight

Eyes:
Nars parallel universe (champange shade) as inner corner highlight
Majolica Majorca lash king mascara

Lips:
Kiko Intensly lavish lipstick in no 2 pretty mauve

Tools:
Yachiyo brush (eBay)
Ita brush (eBay)
Eyelash curler (H&M)

I really enjoyed this makeup look and I think it looks very sophisticated and elegant.

eBay finds - YSL Touche Eclat dupe

I've always wanted to try the YSL Touche Eclat but never had that kind of money to spend on a concealer pen, so when I was looking around eBay and by coincidence found these concealer pens I was very happy.

I bought these conealers from two different sellers. One said that it was a YSL concealer and the other didn't have a brand name. So I expected that one would be a real YSL and the other would be a dupe or copy since the no brand concealer was cheaper than the concealer with the YSL brand name.

I was very surprised that both came in YSL boxes and both had exactly the same writing on it - a complete YSL dupe. Both concealers have the same texture and are actually very nice. I do believe that both concealers are dupes or copies of the real YSL Touche Eclat so I can't compare the product to the real thing.

The concealers are easy to use and pretty good quality for the price. Shade 1 is more like a corrector shade and is really good for the under eye area if you have dark circles like I do. Shade 2 I'll use more as a cream highlight since the coverage isn't as good for spots and redness.

The dowside to these concealers are the colors. The real YSL concealers come in many shades but I've only been able to find 4 shades available on eBay and those are all the lightest shades. Which is a shame.

I will highly recommend these concealers since they are very good for the price and actually cheaper than much of the drugstore makeup sold here in Denmark.

Since they are both the same I will leave the link for the cheapest here

Caudalie: Instant detox mask - Review

I have seen a lot of people review the four new masks from Caudalie, and every review I saw they all came to the conclusion that the Instant detox mask was the best so I had to test it out and see if I agreed.

This mask has pink clay in it, but I don't find this as drying as a standard clay mask. The mask is  good at pulling out the excess oil from your skin and I did see a slight improvement in my blackheads. I use this mask once to twice a week and leave it for about 20 minutes.

(left to right - dry mask, wet mask)

The mask is easy to remove with a cloth soaked in hot water. I find the mask is better at preventing breakouts than clearing up a breakout, where I find my Origins charcoal mask better at clearing a breakout than preventing it.

I really like this mask and it has quickly become the mask I reach for the most out of all my masks and treatments.

I buy my Caudalie products from cocooncenter.co.uk where the prices are a lot cheaper than in any store I've ever seen and they have worldwide shipping!

eBay finds - Nars brush dupes (ita, yachiyo, mie)

(top to bottom- Ita, Yachiyo, Mie)
I have drooled over the Nars brushes for a long time, but knew I'd never spend that much money on a couple of brushes, so I went to eBay and found these amazing dupes!
When I ordered the Ita brush the picture did not show the "Nars" logo so I was very surprised to see the logo on the brush! I don't really know how I feel about the logo, I would probably have preferred it wasn't there just because it isn't a Nars brush, but none the less it looks nice and works like a dream.

As far as I can tell these are EXACTLY like the real Nars brushes. The yachiyo and the mie are spun with wisteria just like the Nars ones and all the brushes have black goat hair, just like the Nars brushes!

These are very good brushes and I've only had a little bit of shedding with these but for a couple dollars each I'm not complaining.

Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser - Review

I bought this cleanser a couple months ago,  and given it a good test run before giving my final review of it.
The cleanser is black when you pump it out and when you rub it on your skin it heats up. After rubbing it in I use a konjac sponge to rub it all over my face and make the cleanser lather up a bit and then I take the cleanser off with a damp wash cloth.

The idea behind this cleanser is great, and sounds good for acne prone skin types, however this did not do anything good for my skin. I tried to love it, I really did, but every time I use it I break out. I even tried using it for a long period of time thinking the breakout was a skin "purge" because all the impurities were being pulled out of my skin, but no. My skin got worse and worse every day I used it.

I don't have very sensitive skin and I never really break out from any products I use on my face, but I really can't see myself use up or repurchase this cleanser. This is trouble in a bottle for me.

Have anyone had good experiences with this product or am I just using this the wrong way? Please let me know.

Kiko - Rebel Romantic

When I saw the new collection from Kiko I knew I had to pick up a few items, since the colors are very fall appropriate and the packaging is rosegold!

I picked up three makeup items and a pocket mirror and I'm very happy with everything.

I got:

Intensely lavish lipstick (02 Pretty mauve)

Rebel Bouncy blush (01 Velvety peach)

Eye Potion

Rebel Romantic mirror

(L to R - lipstick, blush, eye potion)

The lipstick is very pigmented and has a satin finish I'd say. This will stain your lips making the color last longer which I like very much.

The blush is a cream to powder blush, and I apply it with a Real Techniques buffing brush. The color is buildable and lasts all day on my cheeks.

The eye potion is a funny one. It's supposed to be an eye treatment or serum but to me it's more like a liquid highlighter. I dab this all around my eyes, on the brow bone and down to my cheekbones. It does have a brightening effect and the shimmer isn't noticeable after you apply concealer. I will continue to use it but I'm not as impressed with this product as I am with the others.

I will make a FOTD with these products very soon!

eBay finds - MAC brush dupes

A few weeks ago I found some MAC brush dupes. I do not own original MA brushes because they are too expensive for my budget, but I did a lot of research online and plenty of people, including makeup artist, said that the brushes bought on eBay was just as good as the real MAC brushes.

The brushes are labeled the same way as MAC brushes so if you're looking for a MAC 217 brush all you need to do, is type 217 brush into the eBay search bar and choose a seller. A lot of sellers will have multiple MAC brush dupes to choose from for only £1 each!

I'm very happy with my brushes and only the 217 has shed a few hairs so far. The brushes are soft and in my opinion a very good deal!

FOTD - Colored mascara

To change things up with my makeup a bit, I tried out a colored mascara. It's not the first time I've played around with colored mascara but I've never been a fan of blue mascara so when I founf a dark berry red mascara I was all over it!

Face:

Missha perfect cover BB cream shade no. 21

Bobbi Brown corrector in Porcelain Bisque

Maybelline Age Rewind in brightener shade

Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Fair

Hourglass Dim light as setting powder.

Cheeks:

Hourglass Radiant light as blush

Lips:

Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner in Eastend Snob

Eyes:

Maybelline Great Lash in Very Berry

I really love this look and even my boyfriend noticed I did something different with my makeup that day, and he can barely tell a difference when I'm wearing makeup or not. The red mascara really makes a nice touch and gives the look a more interesting vibe without it being really obvious.

Holy Grail Serums

Above you see my favorite serums that I swear by and will keep repurchasing over and over. I use two at night and two in the morning and I find layering these serums really has a good effect on my skin.

Morning: After cleansing and toning my face I use three drops of the Pai rosehip oil, which is amazing for redness and scars! Rosehip oil is a life saver when you have acne prone skin and have a breakout you want to heal fast. After the rosehip oil I use one pump of the Clarins HydraQuench serum which is pretty new to me compared to the other serums, but this has me knocked off my feet! If you have dehydrated skin you need this in your life! This has changed my skin for the better and by using it in the morning it makes my makeup apply and stay better, it's a win- win!

Evening: After taking my makeup off and cleansing and toning I use three drops of the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Conentrate which is kind of an all round serum for me. It evens and smooths my skin, but it's not as hydrating as my skin needs, which is why I use one pump of the Clarins Double Serum. This is a very hydrating serum plus it's an anti aging serum, and it makes the skin have a healthy glow (my sister use this serum in the mornings too and it works well under makeup), again a win -win!

I'd recommend any of these!

eBay frinds - Celine tote lookalike

I've seen the Celine bag plenty of times, and always wished I had that kind of money to spend on a bag. So when I by a lucky chance came across this on eBay I snagged it up and even got my sister one as well.

I was a bit nervous about the quality because it isn't real leather, but it's very sturdy and perfect for everyday use. I don't have to worry about scratching it or taking it out in the rain because it's fake leather and I seems to not really damage at all from daily use.

The bags have tons of different colors, I have the navy and my sister got the black one. both very beautiful bags though the navy perhaps looks a bit more dark blue than navy in the sunlight.

The inside lining is a beige color but the lining can be different from seller to seller so beware of that. I chose this seller because of the pretty neutral lining and the fact that there's a zit pocket and two open pockets inside this bag, perfect to hold my phone and keys separate so my phone wont get scratched!

The bag also comes with a detachable shoulder strap, I choose not to use it because it changes the shape of the bag by pushing in the "wings" on the sides.

I'm very happy with this bag and so is my sister and I would recommend it to everyone looking for a designer like bag without the designer like price!

I got my bag here.

Clarins - HydraQuench serum

I've heard a couple youtubers swear by this serum, so when it was 20% off I snagged one up and tried it out. I use this serum in the morning and one pump is enough for the whole face and neck.
This is a bi-phase product so it needs to be shaken before you use it, you don't get the same result if you don't (yes I've tried).

I absolutely love this serum! I didn't think my skin needed more moisture because I'm using very moisturizing products compared to what I used to use so I actually thought this was going to make my skin too slippery and not be good to apply makeup over. Boy was I wrong! My skin drinks this up and feels so good all day, and my makeup is looking better than ever! I don't get oily anymore and my makeup has stopped looking cakey and flakey.

I'm in love with it! This is most certainly a Holy Grail product! I'd recommend it to everyone and every skin type!

eBay finds - So Real Sunglasses

Recently I've been eyeing up the Dior So Real sunglasses range, but I don't have that kind of money to spend on a pair of sunglasses, so I went to eBay and sure enough they had sunglasses that looks very similar to the Dior ones, but at a much more affordable price.

I really love these brown half mirrored sunglasses, and they don't look too big on my tiny  head. I bought another pair in black and plain dark lenses but those haven't arrived yet.

If you like the Dior sunglasses style but not the Dior prices I will highly recommend searching up these on eBay, there are tons of different colors to choose from! Of course you don't get the Dior quality, but hey - you get what you pay for.

I bought mine here

FOTD - Lash fibers

Today I wore a pretty natural makeup with all the focus on the lashes. I'm super happy with how this turned out and it's a great look for special occasions where you want to look natural but photo ready.

Base:

MULE artist makeup primer - This is a liquid primer that you put on like a serum or lotion before your base makeup. It dries down to a tacky finish and it really helps keep the makeup in place. This primer helped my face stay matte for longer and my makeup didn't cake around my nose or on my chin like it usually does. Great primer!

Dior skin nude bb cream - A light base that covers redness and smaller imperfections really well. It stays on all day and it doesn't break me out!

Maybelline age rewind concealer - I only used this under my eyes to brighten. It doesn't provide much coverage but it makes you look more awake and I like that about it. heavy concealers tend to look cakey under my eyes anyways.

Hourglass ambient powder - I use the shade diffused light all over my face to set my bb cream and concealer. It makes the skin matte without looking flat and dull. Usually this powder isn't enough to keep me shine free but with the primer underneath it worked perfectly.

Cheeks:

Tarte amazonian clay blush - I used the shade captivating which is a nice peachy shade that makes my pale skin look fresh and healthy. These blushes have really good lasting power and there are a lot of pretty colors in the range.

Lashes:

Physicians formula fiber mascara - This really makes your lashes long and voluminous! The downside to this (and even expensive fiber mascaras) is that it's messy. The small fibers gets everywhere and they can be hard to remove from your under eye concealer. I'd suggest to do your lashes before your concealer and foundation so it'll be easier to clean up. Other than that I don't have an issue with it. I tend to use a clean mascara wand to separate my lashes cause they can clump up easily when you use that much product on your lashes.

Lips:

Clarins lip perfector - I used number 02, a sheer peach color that feels very moisturizing and smell like vanilla, yum! These lip perfectors are like a gloss/ balm hybrid and I love them so much!

I absolutely love this look, and I'm going to try different ways to play with this look and possibly add some eyeshadow and what not.

Nars - Parallel Universe

This is my first product from Nars. I knew I wanted this duo from the moment I saw it. I'm not the biggest eyeshadow wearer but I feel like I can make this work in a couple different ways. The champagne shade is very shimmery and pretty and works well all over the lid or to highlight the inner corner of the eye. The lilac shade isn't as pigmented as it looks, but it looks very pretty on the bottom lash line or maybe used as a subtle eyeliner.

The sun is blurring out the eyeshadow, but in the picture above I'm wearing the champagne shade all over the lid and the lilac shade on the bottom lash line.
I've noticed that the lilac shade really makes the green in my eyes stand out and I'm super excited about that!

I love this duo but I'm sure there are many dupes for the champagne shade and possibly the lilac shade.

Majolica Majorca - Lash Jelly Drops

I've loved asian beauty for a long time and I find skincare and mascaras are some of the best and very reasonably priced. So when I saw this lash treatment I had to try it!

Since all the writing on the packaging was japanese (I think) I couldn't read what exactly this product claims to do, so I tried it with an open mind.

The product inside is clear and you brush it on your lashes like regular mascara. The wand is a funny one, but I find it easy to use and the small bubbles easily catches all the lashes. I use this once a day on both top and bottom lashes.

I haven't noticed my lashes getting longer but I have noticed that I don't have that many lashes falling out like I usually do, and that fact could mean that my lashes will grow longer and maybe fuller too. After using this for a couple weeks I noticed I have better "lash days" where my lashes look full, long and separated when I apply mascara, no matter what mascara that may be.

I really like this product and I would buy it again, sadly it looks like it's a bit hard to find but I will certainly try and track another one of these down.

Majolica Majorca - Mascaras

Recently I've been very much into Asian mascaras since I find they are very good at holding a curl and giving both volume and length. I have two mascaras here from Majolica Majorca, the first is Lash Expander Edge Meister (black lid) and the other is Lash King (gold lid).

Lash Expander Edge Meister has a plastic wand which is flat. The top is straight with small combs and the bottom is curved with longer combs. The formula of the mascara is a bit wet and the wand was very hard to control in my opinion. My lashes clumped together very easily because of the wand but Im sure with practice I can make it work. The formula made my lashes droop a tiny tiny bit, but they were still curled and looked alright. the application might get easier when you use it more and there isn't as much product sticking to the wand like there will be in the first few applications. This mascara claims to give length and separation.

Lash King had a bristle brush comb and is very easy to use. The formula is a lot dryer than the Lash Expander but I tend to like dryer formulas. It kept a curl very nicely and separated and lengthened my lashes without looking clumpy. This mascara claims to be an all rounder that will give length, volume and separation, and it really does!

Both mascaras are fiber mascaras. The fibers does not flake or fall out and they are by far the best fiber mascaras I've ever used!

(L: Lash King, R: Lash Expander)

In the picture above I'm wearing Lash King on the left and Lash Expander on the right. It's clear to see that the Lash King gave more separation and length than the Lash Expander which looks a bit clumpy. Also because of Lash Expanders wet formula it transferred a bit to my lower lashes because I blinked. I didn't mind this because I put mascara on my lower lashes anyway, but if you don't like that look be aware of this.

My fave is the Lash King and I highly recommend it! But I'm not giving up on the Lash Expander since it is the brands most sold mascara so maybe I'm just missing something?

Fairydrops waterproof mascara - review

I've seen a lot of people on YouTube talk about this mascara, but it is nearly impossible to find, so my search went to eBay. Plenty of sellers have this but shipping will take forever but most of the time shipping is free so that's a plus. It's not the cheapest mascara but not as expensive as designer brands either.

The wand has three bobbles and is curved, which makes it very good for length, separation and curl, and because the formula is waterproof the curl lasts all day on me which I love!

When I opened the mascara I was surprised to see small fibers in the mascara, because it doesn't mention anywhere that this mascara has fibers or any kind of lash extensions in it. In the picture above you can see some small fibers sticking out at the top of the wand, but lots more fibers are on the wand it was just hard to capture on photo.

The mascara give a very natural look, but with a lot of added length, separation and curl. the formula is wet which had me worried that my lashes would droop but the curl stayed all day and it didn't flake or smudge on me. I love this mascara and will without a doubt buy it again and I will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a mascara that gives length and holds a curl without flaking like other lash extending fiber mascaras.

If you hate mascaras that takes a bit of work to get off then this is not for you, I use an oil based eye makeup remover and it took more work than removing my usual waterproof mascara!

French Skincare

I recently ran out of some of my favorite skincare and made a repurchase along with some new items I wanted to try out.

Nuxe - Beauty fresh cream: I use the "enriched" version of this at night and wanted to see if this day cream would suit my skin a bit better since I have noticed my skin getting dryer lately.

Nuxe - Reve de miel lipbalm: HG product! I use this every night as a "sleeping mask" for my lips and I always wake up with soft and smooth lips. It never fails! I only use it at home since I don't like dipping my finger in lipbalm when I'm out and about.

Nuxe - Dark spot correcting serum: Lately I've noticed a lot of dark spots on my forehead and cheeks and I thought this would be a good serum to try since I like the Nuxe range already.

Klorane - Eye patches: These eye patches are supposed to minimize dark circles. I've tried them once and my dark circles were reduced significantly but they quickly returned the next day. These patches are more like a treat before a big event or for a pamper night at home than and everyday product.

La Roche Posay - Serozinc: I use this toner twice a day without fail. It's a bit of extra moisture to the skin before applying serums and moisturizer. It's supposed to help with breakouts as well, but I haven't noticed a big difference in that department. None the less a good and refreshing toner.

La Roche Posay - Effaclar duo: HG spot treatment! This is the only product mild enough to not make my skin red, irritated and flaky, but strong enough to actually fight those nasty spots. I absolutely love this product, and if you're not as sensitive as me it can be used all over the face as an acne fighting moisturizer.

Bioderma - Crealine H2O: I use this as my first cleanse in the evening to take off all my face makeup, and I really like it. I've tried the sebium version for oily skin too but I like this one a lot better. It's very nice for sensitive skin.

A lot of these items are things I love and use everyday. I can't say if they are all HG products since something better could be out there, but as of now I'm very happy using these products!
